I think I’ll stick to only eating raw fish at restaurants as well. :) I know a guy who makes his own sushi, but I just don’t know how much I want to trust the fish counter at my grocery store to be selling sushi-grade fish.

Ordering one course at a time is a great strategy as well! Especially if you’re ravenously hungry – your eyes may be bigger than your stomach and you may end up ordering way too much food.

I do all these things, too. The only thing I can cook and still eat at restaurants is sashimi. I can buy it frozen, but it’s never the same. And the trick to resist ordering too much is to order one course at a time; you can always order more later if that’s not enough.
